Commitment
to a sustainable
future
At Alticolor, we pursue solid and lasting growth, knowing that a company's success is also measured by the contribution it generates for its workers, the environment, and the community.
A commitment that translates into concrete and measurable actions aimed at reducing environmental impact, creating social value, and ensuring transparent governance, as confirmed by our Sustainability Report.
A document certifying the results achieved by Alticolor and defining future objectives in the three ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) areas.
Commitment to the environment
Environmental protection has always been an integral part of our philosophy and our operations. This is not just a principle, but a daily practice certified by UNI EN ISO 14001:2015, which confirms Alticolor's commitment to a consolidated and continuously updated environmental management system. Within this framework, we adopt tangible actions for environmental sustainability that go beyond the minimum requirements of the certification.
Use of solar thermal energy
The installation of a solar thermal panel has led to a reduction in heating needs and, consequently, a reduction in greenhouse gas emissions and consumption compared to 2023, as documented by monitoring initiated according to European VMSE standards.
Sustainable disposal of fluids
The adoption of two fume abatement towers and a closed-loop fluid disposal system contributes to reducing pollution and promoting the circular economy. Of the water used in the production cycle, approximately half evaporates during processing, and the steam generated is filtered through the abatement towers; the residue, if not returned to the tanks for future use, is disposed of in accordance with the CER D9 waste code.
Monitoring and reduction of noise impact
Regarding noise pollution, despite having recorded emission and immission levels below regulatory limits, we have implemented improvement measures that have further reduced the impact on a sensitive receptor.
Protection of biodiversity
Due to our offices' geographic proximity to the Brenta River protected area, a habitat for protected species, we adopt practices that do not directly or indirectly pollute soil, water, or air, nor threaten biodiversity. Likewise, we constantly monitor the use of water resources in production processes and internal services.
Commitment to social issues
People are the driving force of our company. That's why we take all necessary and additional measures to protect their safety and well-being and foster an inclusive and stable work environment.
Health and safety
Alticolor is UNI EN ISO 45001:2023 certified for its Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OHSMS). We provide all staff with the necessary personal protective equipment and constantly update our prevention systems. In 2024, no workplace accidents or occupational diseases were recorded.
Inclusion and equal opportunities
Women make up 52% of our workforce, earning slightly higher average wages than men, reflecting objective factors such as experience, responsibility, and seniority. Our team, comprised entirely of permanent employees classified under the National Collective Bargaining Agreement (CCNL) for the Metalworking Industry, is made up of professionals of predominantly Italian but also international nationality. Most of our employees have been with the company for many years, demonstrating a relationship of trust and continuity.
Corporate welfare
We offer our employees corporate welfare programs, including grocery and fuel vouchers, to concretely support their daily well-being.
Training and development
In 2024, we completed 639 hours of training, aimed at all company roles, from office staff to factory workers. Training is a strategic pillar for us, and we will continue to invest in it to develop skills and professionalism.
Commitment to governance
Our family-run governance is solid and transparent, geared towards responsible, long-term growth. Composed of three members of the founding family, it ensures continuity in vision and management, integrating ethical, social, and environmental principles into decision-making processes.
Legality rating
Alticolor has obtained a legality rating from the Italian Competition Authority, which is renewed every two years.
Ethics and legality
We have adopted a code of ethics that guides employees and collaborators in respecting legality, integrity, and transparency in all activities and relationships with customers, suppliers, public administration, and other stakeholders. In support of this, we have implemented a whistleblowing system that allows you to anonymously report improper behavior or violations of the code of ethics.
